of course you hated the dance. First of all you didnt have a date, secondly you had like 4 friends there, and thirdly you didnt have any real reason to go at all. yes the music DID suck, but you make the best of it. i dont consider it a social event, it is a "formal" event...you dont go to a dance to talk to people...this isnt junior high anymore. get a date next time and shut up, you are just pissed because all the chicks looked too good for you.
